What We Collect
This demo application collects the store URL you enter and the messages you send in the chat. No personal information is required to use the demo.
How We Use Your Data
Your messages are processed by Google's Gemini AI to generate responses. Store data is cached to improve performance. We do not sell or share your data with third parties beyond what is necessary to operate the service.
Conversation Logging
Your chat messages and Gil's responses are recorded and may be reviewed for debugging and quality improvement purposes — for example, to investigate slow queries or inaccurate results. Conversations are logged alongside the demo customer profile you select (these profiles are fictional). We do not collect real personal data unless you choose to enter it in the chat.
Memory Feature
Gil can learn your preferences and remember facts from your conversations (e.g., style preferences, budget constraints). This data is stored in your browser's local storage. When you send a message, your stored memory is included in the request so Gil can personalize its responses, and it may be visible in the admin panel for demo purposes. You can view, edit, or delete all stored memory at any time via the Agent's Notes panel.
Local Storage & Cookies
We use browser local storage to save your language preference, customer persona selection, and memory data. Only functional cookies are used (language preference, admin authentication). No tracking or analytics cookies are used.
Third-Party Services
This demo uses Google Gemini for AI responses and connects to Shopify's public API to fetch store product data. These services have their own privacy policies.
